Outdoor Ed.!

Every year the 5th graders get to go on a day filled with nature and the outdoors.  It's called Outdoor Ed.  There are all kinds of things for them to do.  I volunteered to be a chaperone!

We got our group and took the bus to Hamel Woods.

There were different stations through the park.  First one up was learning how to use a compass.

Then we got to go paint flower pots.

The girls all loved this station.

We also got to use the water pump to help clean up.

Grandma and Aunt Deb volunteered to help at this station!

Then we got to do a little bit of hiking and learning about different trees.

We also got to play some teamwork games.

We even got to go fishing!

We also went looking for animal tracks too.

Miss Klak taught us a lot!

Afterwards, we got to have a cookout and eat and play games with all the classes!

It was a fun day!
