Happy Birthday to my Presley boy
Today you are 14 years old
Another year has already come and gone
Time sure goes fast I'm told
You've been a busy, busy boy
You are still on a travel baseball team
You play for the JR Stars
And usually play shortshop or pitcher it seems
We spent the summer watching your games
And traveling to tournaments all over the place
We didn't always win
But you certainly grew at your own pace
You are now in 8th grade
And doing well in school
You are in honors classes too
Such a smart guy, you are not a fool
You ran cross country this fall
You placed in the top 5 most of the time
You said you hate running
But man did you really shine
You made the basketball team again
And made some baskets to score
You even went to your first Bulls game
And now you're ready to go to more
Last spring you also made the volleyball team
You have one mean overhand serve
You are pretty good at it too
You had a lot of playing time which you deserved
This summer you really took to fishing
You spent quite a bit of time doing that having fun
You got your friends into it too
When it came to catching fish though, there wasn't a ton
You still enjoy playing your video games
And spend a lot of time playing those
You spend lots of time in your room
But at least you are playing online with your bros
You are really one great kid
And I am incredibly proud of you
You work hard and are kind
And nothing but nice things are said about you
I hope you keep putting yourself out there
You can do anything you want to do
You can be anything you want to be
I can't wait to see there your dreams take you to

How are you already this old?
From a baby to a young woman so fast
Time is a thief I'm told
You are living your best life
And doing all the things
You really are putting yourself out there
I can't wait to see what the future brings
Cheer has been a big part of your life
You cheer for the Plainfield Saints and Drauden too
You have lots of practices
And always have something to do
You're really putting yourself out there
You have been working so hard as well
You've grown so much with your skill
And learned a lot too which is swell
You are a flyer and go up high
I've watched your confidence and strength grow
You've competed in competitions and took first
And you still have a few more to go
Soon you'll be heading to Disney
To compete in a National comp.
You've been putting in a lot of time and effort
And I know you will come out on top
You've been working hard at school too
Lots of studying those honors classses
You work really hard for your grades
You are busy kicking asses
You've even been inducted into NJHS
And have service hours to complete
You already volunteered a lot of hours
And don't have many more hours left to meet
You're also very creative
And like making crafts too
Grandma's helping you learn to sew
You put so much thought in all you do
You're obsessed with cookies
Whether it's Crumbl or ones you bake
We always make meals ahead of time
So you always have a lunch you can take
I'm so proud of you
You amaze me everyday
I can't wait to watch you grow
And see all the great things life will throw your way
