This summer has been so much fun!
Last week, my friends and I took a trip to Blackberry Farms where one of my favorite bands was playing.....The Brat Pack!
I haven't seen this band in a couple of years. I normally take my kids here to play but once a month they have this thing called "live and uncorked." You have to be 21 to get in, you bring a blanket, food, and alchohol. It was totally fun! I brought my sippy cup.
We danced the night away and burned off all those calories as we sipped. It was so much fun and a much needed girls night!
On Saturday, my hubs and I boarded a bus with about 40 other members of the Mueller family. We boarded with our coolers and set off for US Cellular Field to see the White Sox game!
It was fun hanging with the family. We ate, drank,talked, laughed, did the wave, and even had a brief moment of being famous!
The next day we went to the annual Plainfield Fest. It was hot and crowded but the kids rode lots of rides including airplanes, cars, slides, boats, bumper cars, buses, and the roller coaster. I think that was their favorite. They rode it 3 times! And we even saw Anna!
Yesterday we went to the zoo. It was the perfect day. We went with a bunch of our friends. It was not crowded at all and we saw lots of animals.
Today was Presley's last day of t-ball. He had so much fun and really liked it. Today he got a trophy which he is pretty excited about. They played a game and then had a water gun fight. I absolutely loved his coach...Coach Bubba! He was great with the kids and I hope Presley gets to work with him again.
We have been having lots of fun and I hate for it to end. At the end of the week, we head to the Dells to get in a quick vacation. I seriously wish summer would last forever.
