Gracie Girl I can't believe you are 17
Where has the time gone?
It seems like yesterday you were my little baby
All these years-that didn't take long
You are getting ready to start your senior year
Your time in high school is running out
You have been working so hard in school
I'm so proud I could scream and shout
You've taken some hard classes
Honors chemistry and AP physics too
Math, English, and ceramics of course
High honor roll-I'm so proud of you!
You were inducted into National Honors Society
Because you have been working so hard
And you're great at volunteering too
In no time, you'll fill up your card
You and a friend started a crochet club this year
You got a teacher sponsor and set the date
You had meetings all year long
You made fun things and it was great
You took off with your art this year
You made some ceramic pieces that were in art shows
Your penguins and cakes won many awards
I can't wait to watch your talent grow
You got your license this year
And your first job too
You worked at Heap's Giant Pumpkin Farm
You worked in concessions and served food
You like to hangout with your friends
And go to to concerts as well
You like to go out and get food a lot
Mostly because you think chicken is so swell
You are happy hanging out in your room
And crocheting new things all the time
You often make things for family and friends
I know I will always treasure mine
You are such a beautiful person inside and out
You are kind, sweet, and smart
I hope you always stay just the way you are-
The girl with the most biggest heart
I can't wait to see you continue to grow
And the amazing things you are going to do
