Last Day of Preschool!

Today was bittersweet....it was the last time ever that I woke my kids up and told them to get dressed for preschool!  Never again will I say that.  I am excited that they will be going to Kindergarten next year and they are too.

So to help celebrate this milestone, we made signs.

Both kids were super excited about their last day.  Presley got to wear his jammies and watch a movie.  Evie was going to have an ice cream party and Daddy was even coming for a water fight!  

I seriously  never thought this day would be here.  When they were born, it seemed like school years were so far away, but here we are!  We did it!

I will say  I did tear up on our last drive to preschool.  Never again will be doing that drive.  Although  next year will be easier as we'll be going to the same place.  

Yes, I was the crazy parent snappign pics as the kids climbed out of the car one last time.  Presley's teacher, Miss Meghan was the one to get them today.  She probably thinks I'm nuts.

It's weird that something you think is so far away from happening actually eventually comes.  

Well  I did cry as I drove to work for mine and Gracie's last full day.  It sucks to think how fast this is going.  Yesterday I had my hands full of babies, diapers, bibs, etc.  Now my nights are full of dance, scouts, clubs, t-ball, etc.  I wouldn't trade a minute but what would I would give to go back and soak up that minute just a little bit longer.

Tonight at preschool, they had a family fun night so we went with Grandma and Grandpa. 

We got some tattoos.

WE jumped in some bouncy houses.

We took one last picture with Miss Meghan.

We ran the Kindergarten dash. 

We got our faces painted.

We ran some more.

All the kids going to Kindergarten got medals!

And then we found our friends Piper and Meryn and ran some more. 

We played on the parks.

WE took one last picture with Miss Lynn.

We got to try out this new device on the ambulance.

WE played on another park.

We took our picture by the sign one last time.

Like  I said, it's bittersweet.  We are sad to close yet another chapter in our child's lives but excited for the new one that is opening up for them.  Congrats Evie and Presley!  You have reached your first milestone in your education journey.  It's only the beginning and I can't wait to see the places they'll go.  So proud of my new Kindergartners!

New Kids on the Block!

This past weekend was one for the books.... It was the NKOTB concert baby! I got tickets months ago and the day has already come and gone!

The day started like any other...dancing to a little "Hangin' Tough"

Soon it was time for the party to begin.  There were lots of us going to we met up to get the party started!  My  friend Jen was kind enough to volunteer her beautiful home!  We brought lots of snacks and of course jello! (with maybe a little extra something in it...)

This awesome lady had 2nd row seats at the concert!

The rest of us were in section 101!

We booked this totally awesome limo to drive us.  Check us out!

This is Josh, our driver.  We are pretty sure he quit that night after dealing with 15 NKOTB crazy ladies! ha!

Soon we were off and on our way!

One thing is for sure.....we were having a blast just hanging in the limo!

But pretty soon, it was time for THE MAIN EVENT!

We had great seats and were ready for a great show!

First up was Nelly with a little "Country Grammar", "Hot in Here" and "Ride Wit Me."

Then it was time for TLC with a little "Ain't To Proud to Beg", "Unpretty", and "Waterfalls."

Then it was time for the boys to come out! 

They were super awesome and looked really, really, really great!

This guy here was and always will be favorite....I heart you Jordan Knight!

They sang all kinds of songs from oldies like "My Favorite Girl", "The Right Stuff", "I'll Be Loving You Forever", "Step by Step", "Didn't I Blow Your Mind", and "Games" to some of the newer stuff like "Summertime", "Crash", "I Like the Remix" and "Dirty Dancing."

Like I said....good times!

And good-looking boys!

And as long as the keep touring, I will keep going!  I truly love this band and can't believe they have bene around for nearly 30 years!  They really do have the right stuff and I really will be loving them forever!
