20th High School Reunion!

This year I celebrated my 20th high school reunion. Class of 96! It was so much fun and I'm glad I went. We had it at a classmate's house because he has a large yard and a pole barn so we rented a tent and port-o-potties and grilled out and just had fun! Lindsay was there as she married Dan, who I went to high school with.  Elvis came too!

I went with Dana.  Great friends since the high school days!

 

I nominated myself as historian so I started taking all kinds of pictures.

This is Matt and he even dug out his old PE shirt!  Classic!

 

Carolyn I have known for way more than 20 years.  It's been more like since first grade!

 

We had fun looking at our senior yearbook.

It was so much fun and it was great to catch up and see everyone!

The Morton Arboretum!

Towards the end of summer, we headed up to the Morton Arboretum. It's really a fun place to go and the kids love it. Plus when we went, they had a special frog art exhibit going on.

So we made it our mission to find them all.

 

But they also had some bugs and stuff there to look at too.

 

The kids have always loved playing in the children's garden.  It is really neat too. You can wade around in the water.

 

You can climb bridges.

They even got Grandpa to go with them.

 

Every time we are there, we take a pic in this little house.

And then we had to walk around the lake so that we could see and find all the frogs.  

 

It was such a fun day!
