Thankful for a Family Fun Weekend!

This Thanksgiving was a great one!

Not only were we fortunate enough to spend quality time together as a cute little family with our 3 healthy, beauttiful children, but we also spent time with other family members too.

Presley and Eve had matching Thanksgiving outfits. Even though it will be hard and some may think it's corny to dress twins in matching outfits, I think a few won't hurt. And how cute do they look anyways?

Here is what I am thankful for most-a loving, wonderful husband who is an awesome dad, and 3 healthy, happy, gorgeous kids.

And here are Grandma and Grandpa with thier prized grandchildren. We went to their house for dinner. Mom made one yummy turkey and lots of sides. Thanksgiving food is the best!

Anne and I even made it out shopping on Black Friday. We were at Target at 5 am! Even though I didn't really need anything, we still decided to go for the fun of it.Of course I always manage to find things at Target. Don't I look different without my big belly?

Uncle Frog and Aunt Christie came to visit too. Here is the proud uncle with his new niece and nephew.

And here is the Godfrogger with his goddaughter Miss Gracie and the hier to the Weiss throne. Gracie loved playing with Uncle Frog this weekend!

There's No Place Like Home (in our case Grandma and Grandpa's)

Well, we came home from the hospital on Saturday, November 14th.

We decided to stay at my parents house for a week because they lived in a ranch house and we live in a stair-filled townhouse so I could have some recovery time. We brought the babies back to our own house just this past Friday. It has been busy but good. Everyone is doing well including big sister Gracie. The twins are settling into a routine and Chuck and I are getting accustomed to it. We are enjoying showing them off and can't wait to continuously post pictures!

I finally found the time to post since the birth. Everything went well. I was surprised at how fast the whole C-section thing went. I reported to the hospital at 6:15 am and went in the operating room at about 8:30. Chuck no sooner was allowed in the room when they pulled out the babies!

Everyone is doing well. Plenty more pictures to follow. I have been staying at my parents ranch house to recover from the c-section but plan on going home this weekend! Can't wait to share more pictures with you.
And Gracie LOVES being a big sister. She just couldn't come to the hospital because of all the flu going around! We'll share her story later.

"Twas the Night Before my C-Section

Here we are, the eve of the c-section. I am to report to the hospital at 6:15 am! Before we head off to meet our two new bundles of joy, we decided to take a few last pictures. Here is mom and Amy measuring my circumference. Any takers on what this number is????

That number would be 49 1/2 inches! I am over 4 feet around! Holy cow!

Fall Fun!

Yesterday was beautiful outside, especially for November. Grandpa had a lot of raking to do in the front yard of his house so Gracie decided she wanted to help. Once Grandpa raked up a big pile of leaves, Gracie wanted to run and jump and bury herself in them! What fun she had! Happy Fall!

Since I have been on bed rest, I have managed to find the time to whip up a pregancy scrapbook! It took me only 2 quick days too! I wanted and needed a place to put my belly pics and ultrasound pictures. I even left a page to put some pics of me waiting to have the c-section. I think it turned out pretty cute.
