Today was Evie and Presley's first birthday party! A first birthday party is a must but what to do? Well, for starters, we had to have it at Auntie Amy's because can you imagine more than 2 people in our townhome? So thanks Auntie Amy for hosting the party! The birthday babies were excited and big sis Grace was too. In fact, all of us were! You only celebrate a first, in our case 2 first birthdays once right?
Presley and Evie got matching "one" balloons and hats although Evie wasn't too excited about the hat.

I like the autograph bears too. Not only are they matching (my twin ocd) but Gracie had one too, a weiner dog, and it makes for a great keepsake.

My mom and sister made this adorably cute birthday banner on a cricut machine. Yes, that is also my new favorite as well. It turned out awesome. A banner this super cool would cost you an arm and leg in a store! Good job Mom!

And me, well, I have been BUSY lately not only planning this party, but making not one but 2 scrapbooks! Of course you know I wait until like a month before and spent MANY late nights busting my booty to get these done but hey, I did it! I work better under pressure anyways. I'll post some pics of those later. Here's all the pages I did.

And here are the albums put together. Presley's overlapped into two books. I'll explain that later too. I think everyone liked them.

I also made a poster collage of my babies throughout their first year. These are my favorite ones. When I found out I could only use 30 I couldn't decide which ones to use. Enter the scrapbooks. But the poster looks great too!

And you know, what do you do for a November birthday? Set up in the garage was our answer. But we decked it out pretty in pink and blue.

What I just thought of when I saw this is this-my babies turned one on the 11th. Put the balloons together and you have the 11. Crazy huh? I think I'm just really tired. Ok..moving on....

The adorable autograph bears. So excited to put these in their rooms.

Soon the guests started to arrrive. Auntie E had fun watching Sean and Addie play.

And cousin Lisa grabbed Presley for a quick hug.

Addie and Gracie decided to try out the party hats.

Grandpa had fun too. Presley is his little man.

And Grandma snuck some time in with Gracie.

Auntie E and Auntie Anne had fun playing with babies. Here are Jackson and Emma at some of their first birthday parties!

Jackson felt right at home and had fun playing. Presley can't wait to tackle him in a few more months! He's his BFF.

And even Miss Shelby came. Isn't she the cutest little peanut ever? She is only a week old! My friends Lindsay and Dan have no idea how fast the first year is going to fly by. Enjoy it!

Here is everybody.

Then it was time to eat. We had some yummy beef and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the kiddies. They had fun eating at the kiddie table.

Jackie and Olivia enjoyed the food.

Addie was thirsty.

After lunch, we had a quick concert . Presley wanted to entertain us with some live music.

After lunch, it was time for the kids to make aprons with their names on it. We were going to decorate cookies! It was messy fun! Gracie of course choose green, her favorite color.

The kids had fun making them. The only thing is that I am a dork and orderd like puffy paint things instead of actual markers so they weren't dry to wear before me decorated the cookies. I assure you they were advertised as markers though. Oh well. It was still fun!

Jacob was excited about the train on his apron.

And Jackie wanted to make sure she used every color.

Cousin Jill was there too. She babysits for us sometimes.

And Linda Marth came too. This lady is fantastic. She took over my maternity leave last year when I had the twins. She also did it when I had Grace. She did a great job!

Mia had fun too. Her big bro, Sean, made her an apron.

Emma had fun too although I think she was eyeing up the cookies.

Addie couldn't wait to start eating her yummy cookies. They looked spectacular!

All the kids had a blast decorating their cookies. They were grabbing handfuls of sprinkles and just loading their cookies up!

Gracie loves anything having to do with baking so this was right up her alley!

Holly was lucky enough that Jackie and Olivia made lots of cookies to take home. I hope they sleep good tonight!

After cookies, it was time for cake. And not just any cake but "cake lady" cake! Her cakes are so yummy! And she always makes them look so cute.

She even made Evie and Presley each their own little smash cakes.

So we sang "happy birthday" to Evie and Presley.

Then they got to dig into their cake. They didn't really get that much into it so we had to help them.

Presley liked it better than Evie did. That's my boy!

Gracie liked it best of all though! Yummy!

Then we got to open up presents Evie and Presley got lots of good stuff! Clothes, books, toys, money, they are very lucky!

Presley was really excited about his Elmo Christmas movie and train from Auntie Anne, Uncle Mark, and Jackson.

I tried to keep it organized but as you can see, that didn't go so well.

Presley did sit still for a second so I could read a card to him. Of course he was holding a spoon, his comfort object. Most kids pick a blanket or stuffed animal. Nope, not Presley, he always needs a spoon in his hand.

Evie was so excited about her new plate from Jackie and Olivia that she couldn't wait to try it out!

After that, Jackson and Shelby were partied out!

We stopped to get a quick picture of Presley with his Godparents, Auntie Anne and Uncle Mark.

And Evie with one of her Godmommies, Auntie E.

So after the party, I sent Chuck home with the kids so they could nap and I could help clean up. After I got home, here is the sight I saw in my living room. Yes it is usually this messy but not with 2 sleeping babies and a sleeping daddy in it! Too much partying!

Thank you to everyone! It was a great birthday!
