The End of 2021!

It's been  quite the year. Lots of laughs, lots of memories, lots of fun.  However, here is how the year is ending for our family.  The after Christmas mess. It has since been put away but wow!  We got a little snow which I hate driving in, and finally we are quarantining for the remainder of our break as Chuck tested positive for Covid. Hoping to happy, healthy days in 2022!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas 2021 did not disappoint!  The kid got what they asked Santa for!  Well mostly!  Gracie got her Beats headphones and green Converse. Evie got tickets for New Kids on the Block and a Disney dog Loungefly.  Salt n Pepa are going to be at the concert too which makes her super excited!  Presley got new Nikes and tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters.  I think they were very happy with that.  They also got all kinds of other things you can see in the pics. Evie bought Hazel and Millie a new cat house log cabin.  They put it together while the breakfast casserole was in the oven and put in some catnip.  Millie was in heaven.  Gracie got all kinds of sweaters and cardigans and jeans.  Evie got some craft supplies and Friends shirts.  Presley got a drone, LED lights for the basketball hoop, and some Rubix.  After we did presents at our house, we went to my parents where more gifts were waiting!  We ate some fruit pizza and opened stockings.  Evie also gave us our gifts.  She was so thoughtful in making each of us a handdrawn picture that is personal to us. She also wrote us each a letter about why she loves us.  Bless her little heart.  She has been working on these gifts since October!  I think I have passed on the Christmas gene to her!  Then we had Daddy do a scavenger hunt to find out that we bought him a new grill that he wanted!  It's a Blackstone griddle. He is super excited about it and came home that night and put it together. The kids got all kind of goodies from Grandma and Grandpa and Amy too.  We gave Grandpa our hankies that we always design for him every year.  I think everyone had a great Christmas. So much stuff to put away. We are very blessed.  Merry Christmas!
