So every year I attempt to set some goals for myself for the new year. Being that I did not follow through on many from 2008, we'll see if any of these will get accomplished in 2009. Here is my countdown of New Year's Resolutions.
10. Scrapbook More!
Just like you, I have a bazillion picutres sittingin boxes. When you have a child, you get even more! I need to stay current with pictures. Sure, I managed to scrap Gracie's first year but now I am working on her first birthday book and that happened back in July! I will scrapbook more! Besides, TV shows all suck!
9. Learn to cook!
Many of you are probably laughing right now but since Gracie is eating real food and my husband is not home every night, I have to feed my child something and microwavable meals are getting old!
8. Too much junk in the trunk!
Yep. Call me K-Lo. I have come a long way since giving birth weight-wise. Won't tell you what I weigh and I can fit in my pre-baby clothes but a little more won't hurt either.
7. Quit bad habits!
We all have them. I have too many. Enough said!
6. Spend more time with my Husband!
This one will be tricky due to the wonderful world of Menards! Having a husband who is gone some nights and every other weekend, proves it a little bit more harder to find time for just us. Let's see....the last time we went out together by ourselves? Have no freaking clue! Anyone want to babysit?
5. Chill out!
I can get very stressed out very easily. With work and being a wife and mommy sometimes it can get overwhelming. I need to take a breather every once in awhile and mellow out with things. Besides, that's why they invented liquor right? Also, I am too blessed to be stressed!!
4. Save money!
I am not the best in this area and need to work harder at it. I really need to keep my life moving along so I am going to try my best and spend less. I am not a brand-namer but Target sees a pretty penny from me!
3. Have a baby!
I am 30 and the clock is ticking...........
2. Stay at home!
Yes, I would like to take a few years off work and stay at home with Gracie. Time is a flying away and instead of spending time with my own children, it's with other people's. Before I know it she will be in school and I will have missed these precious years. Besides, they will always need teachers!
1. Buy a house!
Been saying this for awhile too. This crackerjack box is a little too crampy for me now. I need space!!! Unless the economy picks up, this one will be hard to do but it is what I want to accomplish the most. If anyonw knows of anyone looking for a 2 bedroom, 3 full bath townhouse let me know!
There you have it! Happy New Year! May 2009 bring good health, good wealth and much happiness!
