15 years already
And here we are
When you were a baby,
I thought this day was off by far
You were my baby boy, my only one
And you had a twin sis too
You were my Chubby Bubby
I had so much fun with you
But now you are a freshman in high school
A few months ago you graduated 8th grade
And a member of the National Junior Honors Society
I'm so proud of all the choices you made
Last year you rocked volleyball and basketball
And now you're getting ready to try out for the freshmen team
My fingers are crossed for you dear boy
Work hard and get that dream
You also continue to play baseball
And just finished your 3rd year with the JR Stars
You guys had a great season, the best yet
You and your team have really come far
We went to Michigan for your first big tournament
We made it pretty far in that one too
We had so much fun
And only lost by a few
You still love to play video games
Plain hamburgers are your jam
And you love to eat fruit
And BBQ chips are easy to slam
There's so much fun in store
Now that you're turning 15
You're going to learn to drive
And hopefully make some teams
I'm so proud of the man you are becoming
Even though you're already taller than me
I want you to study hard and get good grades
And always be kind to everyone you see

Happy Birthday Evie Girl
You are turning 15 years old
The years sure have gone fast
And I miss the sweet baby I used to hold
The last year has been quite a ride
Your 8th grade year was a blast
You studied hard and were in NJHS
You did cheer and track and ran real fast
But you also cheered for Plainfield Saints
And were part of their competition team
You even went to Nationals in Florida
We went to Disney too, what a dream
You are now a freshmen in high school
You made the JV cheer squad
You had fun and cheered at football games
And often were the flyer with your little bod
Now you are going to do competition cheer
You're still doing tumbling too
You just got your back handspring
I am so proud of you
You've really come out of your shell
And have made lots of new friends
You and Grace have grown close
But getting along with your bro depends
You're still very crafty
And you love to eat food
Chipolte, chicken, and ice cream are your favs
And Starbucks now when you are in the mood
You are going to have so much fun
Now that you are turning 15
You'll be learning how to drive
And getting your license will be a dream
I'm so proud of the lady you are becoming
And hopefully your moodiness will calm down
You can be quite the spunky diva
You're like a princess without a crown
