Last spring, Gracie made her first Communion at our church. It's still a little different from the way I grew up in a Catholic Church but I do love our church. It's Luthern so they make their first Communion in 5th grade. We had classes to attend for a few weeks and some homework to do to prepare. She made it the Sunday before Easter. Here she is with her friends from church Talia and Alyssa.
The kids got to go up front and receive their first Communion.
They also had to make a poster about what Communion means to them.
They also received a Bible!
So proud of our girl!
