Homecoming!

This year was the second year Holly and I were in charge of Homecoming!  We got second place last year so we were determined to get first this year.  The theme was Broadway so we chose to do Grease.  We made a car and had the kids help paint it.  We also had them make props and taught them how to do the hand jive for the judges!  It was a lot of work but it was fun!

The kids had fun dressing up.  Evie wore a poodle skirt that I wore as a kid.

Presley wore his leather jacket.

Charlie had the gym uniform.

Olivia was a beauty school dropout.

We had quite a bit of people walk with us!

Presley was glad Ethan was there to walk.

We had Mr. Nick and Ms. Novak be Danny and Sandy.  They totally played the part!

As well as some other Pink Ladies.

We were glad that it rained that morning but not during the parade.

Holly and I were the mechanics. It was so fun!

We did awesome even though we placed 3rd place!
