Happy 5th Birthday Gracie!

Happy Birthday Gracie Girl!

Today you are five!

Our time together sure has flown fast

And you are growing up before my eyes!

While you took your time to come and meet us,

You were born on July 1st, 2007

You may have cooked for 41 weeks,

But when I met you, I was in Heaven.

You were an 8 pound little bundle of joy. 

And 20.5 inches long.

We thought you might have been an easy baby,

But when we got you home, we were wrong.

You were fussy and cried and didn't sleep a lot.

But we got used to you.

It seems like those sleepless nights were just yesterday,

My how these 5 years flew!

You wear 5T clothes,

and weigh 33 pounds.

And hearing you laugh,

Is one of my favorite sounds.

Your favorite color is green.

And you love to make crafts.

Your favorite is painting

and taking glow-in-the-dark baths.

You love your Pricesses and Barbie too.

Your favorites are Jasmine and Sleeping Beauty.

You have all of the dolls though,

and have seen every one of their movies.

This year you graduated from preschool.

Soon, kindergarten is where you'll be.

You will be going to Wesmere.

Becasue that's where Mommy works you see.

You are a picky eater though,

And you love your grilled cheese and peanut jelly.

You also love mashed potatoes and yogurt.

But candy never has a problem getting in your belly.

You've done lots of neat things this year,

like take tap, jazz,hip hop and ballet,

You even got to be in another recital,

And dance to "It's a Sunshine Day."

You learned how to work a computer,

and went to Sunday School.

You know the words to lots of songs,

and love to swim in a pool.

You have lots of friends,

and you love to play.

You can write all your letters and numbers.

You just get smarter everyday!

I have loved watching you grow over the years.

And being your mom is the best thing that could have happened to me.

You fill my heart with so much love

and I'm happier than I could ever be.

To Presley and Evie,
You are a great big sis.
You play well with them and boss them around,
You are such a little Miss.

You have a great personality,

and are very pretty too.

You have strawberry-blonde hair

and eyes that are the most beautiful blue.

You are silly and funny

And creative as well.

I can't wait to see what you become.

Only time will tell.
