Dance Pics, Eyes, and Exercise!

Today was a big day for Gracie. For one, her dance pictures came in the mail!  Doesn't she look groovy?  She smiled so good.  I'm so happy that they turned out great.
Here is her little dance class from last spring.  The jazz class danced to "It's a Sunshine Day" from the Brady Bunch movie.
Today Gracie also had her eye exam for school.  She did so well reading all the letters on the chart.  The doctors were impressed.  Some were even pictures.  She even knew that the picture of the rotary phone was a phone!  Turns out she is a bit nearsighted but that is normal I guess for her age.  No worries or need for glasses yet.  I told the doctor it's only a matter of time since both of us have bad eyesight as do our families.  They did dialate her eyes though.  She didn't cry when they put the drops in but I know it burns.  They gave her a bunch of Barbie stickers though and she was a happy camper.  They even gave her a pair of those paper glasses to wear when we left but she couldn't wait to try them on!

Then this afternoon, she got invited to her friend from preschool, Kendal's birthday party. It was at a gymnastics plac.  They got to jump in foamy block pits.
They got to jump on trampolines.

She even got to hang and swing from the hoops.
Oh, and swing into the foam pit.
They also played games.
It was like a little preschool reunion.  It was cute.  When we left, the kids were telling each other, "see you next summer."  Ha!
