Pinewood Derby!

This year as part of Cub Scouts, Presley entered his 2nd Pinewood Derby.  It's a contest where the boys make cars out of wood and race them.  It's pretty neat and is always a good time.  They even have a section for siblings to enter too so this year Gracie decided she wanted to do it too.

Presley was really hoping to win this year!

There were lots of cars!

This year Presley entered "The Eracer".  Get it?  Last year he had a pencil.

Gracie made the "Panda Express."  She loves her pandas!

They waited patiently to watch their cars race. Each scout got to race their car 4 times, once on each track.

Gracie won a race!

Presley came in 3rd!

But then he won a race too!

Gracie won an award for hers!

Presley didn't but he was  good sport about it.

I think both of them had a good time and they are already plotting their plans for next year!
