Every year our Girl Scout Service Unit puts on a highest awards ceremony to celebrate those scouts who earned their bronze, silver, and gold awards! It is a pretty big deal. Even though we earned this last summer, we missed the ceremony so we were honored this year. Only Evie and Eliana are left now but they did earn their silver award by making craft carts that we doated to Guardian Angel Services and La Rabida Children's Hospital in Chicago! Both were very appreciative, The girls had to plan, shop, budget, and build. They each built a cart and filled it with crafts that were already bagged and ready to go. Each drawer had different crafts in it. Each girl planned which crafts their carts would contain. It was fun and I know they enjoyed it as well! Good job girls of Troop 70182!
