Look Out Cubbies......

Presley is ready for the major leagues!
Presley finsihed up his second t-ball class the other day and he had so much fun!

He got better at catching the ball thanks to pretending to be elephants and alligators.

He got better at throwing because he learned the ABC's-airplane, bring it, and chest.

But the thing he did so good at was batting. This kid can hit a ball!

It was the last day yesterday and the parents got to play the kids.  Presley batted so good that the bat never even hit the t!  I had to get the ball and try to tag him out.

It was close but he made it safely back to home!

But then after the kids batted, it was the parents turn. I'll admit, I did strike out once but then I hit it and Presley ran to tag me out.  And he got me.

Well, the parents lost this game and the kids won!  They did one last cheer.

Coach Brett was awesome and even gave the whole team a trophy!

Look at my baseball guy!  So proud of him!
He's got his sister Gracie talking about playing football now because she wants a trophy too!  It's her new favorite sport you know?  (says Gracie)

Super Summer!

WARNING: THIS IS A LONG POST WITH LOTS OF PICS!
We have been so busy this summer with all kinds of things going on.  Between recovering from my surgery, house hunting, and all the things in between, it's been hard to post and I have been pooped!  I'll start with the 4th of July.  Not too much happened.  We  swam at day and saw fireworks at night.  My kids really loved the pop-it things that you throw and they make noise.

We even got some popsicles and sparklers but Bub burned his hand so this helped

And Evie missed it all because she was sleeping in the car.

My Uncle Jerry always hosts the annual Mueller 4th of July party and it;s always so much fun.  He rents lots of bouncy houses, got a video game truck, shuffle board and hourseshoe tournaments, swimming, lots of food, and of course this playhouse!  I always loved this playhouse so much when I was younger.  Now my kids love it too.

Gracie was so excited because her buddy Addie was there.

We also went and saw the Plainfield fireworks this year with our buddy Jackson.

This summer we didn't do too much park district classes but I did sign Evie and Presley up for a preschool class that they do by themselves.  They were pretty excited for the first days.  I think the umbrellas helped ease their anxiety.

But my babies are growing up....real preschool starts in a few weeks.

This summer Gracie also got to go back to vacation Bible school!  She went last year and loved it.  She loved it this year too.  Her friends were in it.  We love our new church.

Next year Evie and Presley will be old enough to do it too.

The theme was Kingdom Rock and the songs that Gracie learned were so cute.  I liked them too! They ended the week with a family fun fest and it was so much fun!

These pics got a little out of order but we did go out and see Monsters University.  Totally cute movie!  If you haven't seen it yet, you should!

We had a sleepover with our friends Jackie and Olivia. The girls had so much fun.  They even let Presley play too!

We've been having fun hanging out with our friends too this summer.

We went and fed the fish.

And even went on an adventure through the forest.

We hang out at my parents a lot because they have a pool and all kinds of fun things. Jackson and Presley had a little treasure hunt going on.

Levi cleaned the playhouse.

I love this boy to pieces.

Swimming has been so much fun this summer. Although I can't go swimming, Uncle Mark came over and swam with the kiddies.

We even went on a little lunch treat to BWW.

We had a baby shower and the girls looked so cute.

These two are the cutest sisters I have ever seen!

Whoops.  Sleepover again.

This summer we have already been planning ahead to Halloween and Daddy found a super cool Elvis costume.  Let's see who gets to be the lucky kid to wear this....

We saw a pretty rainbow.

We went to the Children's Museum.
It's one of our favorite places and haven't been there in awhile. The bubbles were a big hit.

So was the water table.

The wind tunnel was fun too.

Ahoy Matys!

Evie was rocking making some big bubbles.  I saw the recipe on Pinterst so we will be making some at home.

A giant lightbright!

Tickets please!  I think I must have bought about a zillion tickets to the North Pole from this chick.

All Aboard!

Evie made a princess castle out of blocks all by herself!  Look how proud she is.

These kids rode the train all around town.

Clearly Bubs is heavier than Evie.

We also went to lunch at a great restaurant after the museum.  And everytime my kids have to ride it and I have to take their picture.

So there you go..just some of the things we have been up to this summer.  I still have lots more things to post about including Plainfield Fest, the NKOTB concert, and my surgery with before and after pics.  I'll get around to it one of these days. But now I must go and keep searching for my dream house!
