Track!

I talked Gracie into doing track this spring in school.  She wasn't sure but I knew she would take to it and she did.  I did track in high school and loved it.  I was never that good but I did it.  

 Here she is getting ready to run the 1600 meter dash.  

She also tried discus too and really enjoyed that.

So proud of my girl for trying new things!

Space Derby!

Presley's Cub Scout pack always partakes in Space Derby too!  It's a little different from the Pinewood because these fly and not race on a track.

Presley came in 3rd place and was pretty happy about that! 

Pool Party!

Sometimes when Grandma is scrapbooking at a hotel, we join her and have a pool party!  So we invited Meryn and Piper and Lily and Fiona.  

Christmas in Highland!

Every spring we head to Highland to celebrate Christmas with Chuck's family.

The kids are always excited as we don't get to go down there that much.  We passed out the presents and the kids were ready.

Evie got some things for her dolls.

Bub got a gun that shoots balls.

Grace got a panda and an art set.

Alex got a Stag hat.

Presley had to make a bird house for Boy Scouts so he made a Cubs one and gave it to Papa for Christmas.

Gracie wanted to make her pizza casserole for people to try.  She's been doing cooking club so she wanted to show off her skills.

The weather ended up being nice so Stacy just bought herself a new convertible so she took the girls for a spin.

The kids always have fun hanging out in Uncle Frog's garage.  He has a couple of pinball machines that they like to play.

And Gracie brought her art and was doing some artwork too.

Evie and Presley's Musical!

Evie and Presley had their spring musical in March.  They practiced their songs in music and were ready to perform.  Mr. Carlson always does a good job putting these on.  He does them by grade level.

Cookie Season!

Like every year, the girls sell Girl Scout cookies!  This year we had both troops do some cookie booths.  We were lucky to get the mall too because the mall is one of the only inside cookie booths.  The rest are usually outdoors.  It's cold in February when you are trying to sell cookies.  But we did good and managed to sell lots of cookies.

Chess Club!

The Weiss family are chess players!  Every year our school hosts a Chess Club!  I help out even though I have no idea how to play.  The kids do though and although Grace is not here this year to play, the little ones play.  Every other week it alternated between the Knights and Rooks.  My kids go every week though.  

Gracie's Play!

Gracie decided to join the Drama Crew this year at school.  She did not want to be an actor but wanted to help behind the scenes.  Her school did Alice in Wonderland and it was really cute!

The cast did a really great job.  It was funny and they put on a good show!
