Party Weekend!

We had quite the busy weekend here. Besides sledding and the dance, we had 2 other parties. On Saturday we went to our friend Shelby's house for a Valentine's Day party.  The kids made heart shaped bird feeders with pipe cleaners and fruit loops.

Although I think a lot of the cereal went into mouths....

We played some heat games and the kids had a blast.

We even had two very handsome dressed gentlemen at the party.  But if you look closely, you will see this picture being photobombed.

So after the games, while the girls watched "Beauty and the Beast," the boys got ahold of a Marvel book and that entertained them for awhile.

We even had pizza and cookies!  Yum!  Thanks Shelby for inviting us!

On Sunday, we went bowling to celebrate Scotty and Levi's birthday!  Again, the kids had a blast.  They did really good too. I think Presley ended up with a score of 103!

We had some yummy cookies made by Amy!

And this girlie thought the bowling shoes made her outfit!

While this guy was being Mr. Sassy-Pants.

But everyone had fun and we got to hang with some of our favorite boys!

Happy birthday Scotty and Levi!

Sledding!

Since we got all that snow, we finally had our first chance to go sledding this year!  The weather actually warmed up to the 40's and we tried a new hill.  We brought Grandpa with his. He is the one that has the sleds!  The kids had a ball.  Presley  was weary at first.  Then he just wanted to clown around in the snow.  Then, when it was just about time to go, he decided to try it again.  It was then that he realized he does love sledding and that he even loves riding in the front!  After that, we couldn't get him to want to leave.  As much as I dislike winter, I hope we have one more good snowfall so the kids can enjoy sledding one more time this season.

Sweetheart Dance!

Last Friday night, Evie and Presley had sweetheart dance for their preschool!  It was total cuteness!
First we made some heart picture frames.

We took some pictures.

We got tattoos.

We colored some pictures.

Then we took some more pics.  These are seriously so darling!

WE made some more hearts.

Then it was time to hit the dance floor!

I was worried that the kids were going to be all shy.  And they were at first but they warmed up and saw some kids from their classes.  Evie was playing with some girls from her class.

Presley found his friend Owen.  Not sure how this picture turned out like this.

Check out these sweet moves!

The kids ended up having so much fun with their friends that they didn't want to leave.  We stayed the entire time!

These are Evie's friends from class Samantha and Morgan.  They are so cute!

I'm so glad they had such a great time!I did too!
