ok so I know I haven't posted since last year! But I'm back! Instead of doing a whole bunch of little posts, I thought I would wrap the month of January up with one big post.
For one, winter really kicked it into gear so we have been spending some time hanging out at home. We've done a lot of basement playing. This is where the kids can ride their bikes until spring.
The girls started up dance again. This time around Gracie is doing poms and Evie is trying tap dance! Here is Evie on her first night of tap. She loves it!
Right after we got back from Christmas break, we had 2 days off due to very cold temps. We opted to swim in the bathtub!
We did get out one weekend to go to a bouncy house! Colton came with us and I think he had fun for his first time!
Then we got some snow and it made this boys day!
The kids decided to make some snow angels.
Evie thought she would give the snow a taste.
Here is a little preview of Evie's tap dance.
This girl is so a little diva. After tap, she comes home and hangs out in her dance clothes.
While going through pictures on my phone, I found these....
This is Lily. She is in Gracie's class and her grandma teaches at Wesemere too. The girls have fun hanging out together before and after school.
We've had soem playdates too. Shelby came over one night and the girls had fun putting on a fashion show.
Piper came over another day and the girls had fun dressing up too.
Gracie had enough points to go out to lunch with Mr. Parrott. Here are some other girls that got to go too. She loved it. And she even ate ALL of her chicken nuggets. That is a pretty big deal.
Evie and Presley got invited to birthday parties for twins (each one has a twin in their class.) Evie's was a sports party and they made football helmets. Pretty cute huh?
Then it was time to celebrate the 100th day of school. So we deiced to dress like we were 100 years old! It is just so happens that someone even lost a tooth that morning. 100 year olds even have missing teeth!
Here are some of the kids from my class.
Evie and Presley had a winter fun night at their school. We did some snowman bowling.
They made Olaf too!
This month also consisted of scoring some New Kids on the Block tickets! Best. Band. Ever. Can't wait for May 23rd!
We met up with some our toothless friend Scotty!
And just last week, the big snow hit! I think we ended up with like 16 inches of snow or something.
Daddy had to shovel but this guy was having too much fun playing in the snow. this was the perfect snow for packing
He had his own little hill made in no time!
After the driveway got shoveled, it was time to make a snowman. And just any snowman. A ginormous one!
So proud of my boys. That thing is still halfway standing a week later.
This is me standing on the sidewalk trying to show how much snow actually fell.
Then the boys deiced to roll the biggest snowball ever!
They started in the front and rolled it to the back. That's as far as they made it. It was too heavy to roll anymore. That thing ain't melting til spring.
A couple of hours after playing in the snow, the blizzard hit.
The wind picked up and it started drifting everywhere!
This is our driveway.
And then it took 2 days for the plows to find us here out in the country.
Because here are pictures of our street. Even a plow got stuck. then it got unstuck. then it left.
