St. Patty's Day Party!

Before I begin, this is my 800th post! Cool huh?
So my friend Lindsay called me yesterday and suggested we have a St. Patrick's Day party for the kiddies since we were all going to pass on the parade today because it was so cold and windy.  She called some other friends and put us all in charge of something.  I had crafts.
So tonight, we got together and did just that!
The kids had fun making their leprechaun craft.

They had a good time coloring their beards.

We even made one for Baby Benny!

Look at all the artists at work.

Shelby passed out leprechaun punch which consisted of lime sherbet and ginger ale.    Yum!

Jessica made cookies!

These two thought the punch was yummy too.

We had to glue our hats to our masks.  That was fun. What kid doesn't like to use glue?

Top O the Morning to ya Evie!

Bub was pretty proud of his rainbow beard.

Lindsay made pizza that Anne brought but.....

it ended up setting up the smoke alarms. Thank goodness we had some green plates to take care of this shananigan!

The kids ate good.

And this little guy?  I would kiss him even if he isn't Irish!

Here are all of our lucky charms!

We bribed them to smile nicely with the shamrock cookies.

Shelby really enjoyed her cookie!

We ended our little party with a game of "Simon Says."  He was Irish right?
Happy St. Patty's Day!

The Weiss House..Getting Closer!

So today we made an appointment for the heck of it, (or because Bill Mueller, aka, my dad) really wanted to see what was going on inside this big beautiful building.  It is taking foreverin my mind but that is because I am SO excited to finally be able to call this place "HOME!"
Well, the siding is going up!

It's coming together very nice. Here is the great room when you walk in the front door.

Here is our beautiful front door!  Lots of light!  And a huge coat closet!

The view from the front door looking into the kitchen area.

Here is our kitchen.  I'm happy with the cabinets we picked.  They are not the exact ones but they would have cost a ton.  A 7 foot island is also going in here.  You'll see it sitting in the living room in a minute.

Here is the dining area looking into the living room.  There is the island.

The bathroom downstairs.

The hallway outside the bathroom.  The door on the right goes out into the garage.  The door to the basement is on the left.  The room ahead is going to be our scrapbook/computer room.

Oh the possibilities and hours of scrapping in here.

Upstairs here we have Gracei's bedroom.

Presley's bedroom.

The toy room!  And it's upstairs.  No more toys and Barbie houses in my kitchen!

A view from upstairs.  They were busy working today.

Evie's bedroom.

The kids bathroom upstairs.

The master bedroom.

The master bath!  Holy cow, I am excited about this!

My walk-in closet.  Chuck has a smaller closet across from this one.

Master bath again.

More upstairs.

Basement. You know I need one of these.

I love the all the open space.  From the living room...

to the kitchen.

Upstairs again.

And my master bath because it's so pretty.

There you go! That's our house so far.  We have the final walk-through next week.  They say it will look even better then because the painters are coming, the carpet needs to be laid, and the trim needs to be put up.  I simply cannot wait!!!!  And the best news is....Dad approved their work!

Frozen Sleepover!

Gracie has been looking forward to her cousin Addie's Frozen birthday sleepover for weeks now!  Last night was the big night.
All the girls got matching Frozen nightgowns to wear!

How cute are they?

My cousin Jen went all out with this theme.  The girls got Frozen bags with the Frozen book and a light-up snowflake necklace.  All the food was Frozen themed including this cake made by my friend Barb.

She had decorations that were so cute all over the place.  The girls played games like "Pin the nose on Olaf" and had a "snowball" fight with white pom poms.

But soon it was time to wind down and watch the movie. Guess which one?

The girls had a great time. I only stayed for a little bit because the mamas got to indulge in a little "Frozen" cocktails.  But when the movie started, the girls were singing their little hearts out and it was so cute.
Thanks for everything Jen!  Happy birthday Addie!  Gracie had great  time and now she wants a "Frozen" birthday party too this summer.
