Valentine's Day Fun!

We have been busy in our household doing all kinds of Valentine's Day things. For one, we made cards. Grace picked out cards for everyone. For Evie, she picked Mickey and Minnie. For Presley, she chose Toy Story and for herself, Princess for her friends and Barbie for her school friends. She worked hard writing her name on all the cards. She even wrote some of her friend's names. We are working on writing in lowercase letters except for the first letter of someone's name.

Evie and Presley worked hard doing thier thing too. I helped them write their first initial and they decorated them up by putting stickers on them.

Our Valentine party at school was last Friday.

Evie and Presley made thier first Valentine handprints at Messy Masterpieces. I still have Gracie's from when she did this at 2 years old. I love the handprints! Priceless!

Sunday Gracie and I stuffed her little Valentine goodies bags. Pinterest had some really cute stuff to make but Gracie would have much rather buy the toys and stuff bags so we got Sweet Tarts, heart fruit snacks, pencils, notepads, bouncy balls, and playdough. We got her teachers some Ghiradelli chocolates. I am a teacher and I do love me some chocolate!

She was so excited for her Valentine's party at school which was today. She even got to pick out a cute heart dress all by herself! Thanks to Target clearance! Doesn't she look lovely. She got dressed this morning all before anyone else was and even managed to get her tights on all be herself! She had fun at her party and came home with so many goodies! Her little Valentine's cards from all her friends are so cute. They all spelled their own names. I will keep them for her to look at when she gets older. I always kept mine and loved looking at them.

We also painted and some crafts. We did manage to paint some toilet paper rolls and turn them into butterflies. This is one of the many cute ideas I saw on Pinterest but time got away from us so we didn't have time to make very much. These turned out cute though and the kids had fun making them.
