So the last few weeks, both of my little ones have been in big boy/girl beds. Presley has successfully been in his since august. Evie just moved out of her crib a few weeks ago. I will admit that it's sad that there are no more cribs. My babies aren't babies anymore. They go to sleep pretty good and stay there all night. The only problem is naptime. We put the babies to bed first, gving them papertowels for their pillows.

But when it's time for the twins to take a nap, this is what happens......

In case you are wondering what that is, it's the gate in thier bedroom door. If I didn't gate them in, they would never nap. This was after I had climbed over the gate a couple hundred times, picked them up, placed them in their beds, and scolded them by telling them "No. Go to sleep."

They decided to take every toy that they could find, including emptying the toybox and somehow knocked 2 pictures of the wall and tossed them over the gate.

I thought that this would get old. That they would tire themselves out. That they would run out of things to chuck over the gate.

But the pile grew quite large. There was giggling coming from the room.

By the time they were done, I couldn't even get to the gate. I was mad! I trudged threw the pile, threw open the gate and made the little monsters clean it up.

They did help. They put everything back and I didn't even hear the word "no." Then I noticed that Presley even flipped his mattress as you can see and decided that there would be no naps that day.
Here is a video of the two no-nappers at work
Wouldn't you know that within 5 minutes of cleaning up, they ended up passing out on the couch. It was already 3:30 but I let them sleep for a little bit because I was exhausted.
UPDATE: Since this little incident, naptimes are still a struggle and this has happened again. Any thoughts on how to prevent this kind of crime from happening?
