The other day at Messy Masterpieces, it was time to celebrate Elmo's birthday! Presley and Evie patiently waitede thier turn on the rug to get thier nametags.

Don't they look so big here? They sat really good and listened to the directions. I can't beleive that next year at this time, I will be signing them up for preschool.

They set off to work right away. They love the dobber paints. I think I will have invest in some from Michael's. Good thing I still have a gift card from Christmas.

They had fun using glue sticks to stick pom-poms, feather, and beads on to their paper.

Then we got to make some Elmo masks!

They glued on googly eyes and an orange nose. They got to paint his face by using these prickly rings. That was pretty neat!

Happy Birthday Elmo!

Then we went and puffy painted some more Elmo pictures.

But this bean and rice table was still a big hit. They love pouring and scooping all the goodies in there. In fact, I bought a bin for home and some beans and rice to put in there to play with. In fact, Miss Darlene, the teacher, said to bring the rice next week to class so we can dye them there.

Then it was time for some Play-dough fun.

And more painting of Elmo.

Then to keep with the Elmo theme, we went fishing. Elmo has a fish named Dorothy you know.

It was a fun class. I am so glad I signed them up. I love being able to do things with just them too.
