Santa's Workshop!

Last night we headed to one of the middle schools in town for Santa's workshop. Talk about cute, this totally was! All the middle schoolers were awesome. They had stations set up to make crafts, decorate and eating youw own cookies, games, caroling, dancing, writing letters to Santa, face painting and even Santa and Mrs. Claus were there!

Gracie was the only one who would sit with Santa and she told them that she wanted a princess kingdom! Ha!
She had a blast making snowflake ornaments with Grandpa. Presley made one too alhtough he was more into people watching. Gracie also made a reindeer bag puppet with her hands as the antlers. Then we went and decorated cookies. You got to eat them too! Evie thought that was cool. Then they had toy ads out for the kids to make their Christmas list and write a letter to Santa. Gracie wrote, all by herself, that she wanted a princess, barbie, and a castle. My sweet girl! Then we headed over to play some Christmas games. First up was the beanbag toss into the snowmen. Then Christmas Bozo buckets. Each game was complete with some holiday prize too! Finally using candycanes, Gracie had to swing the ball into the net! She did it too! Oh, and then we went back to try our luck at beanbags again. Then we watched the danceers one last time. Presley was amazed. I think he wanted to dance but was too shy because he would have been the only boy! I'm glad we decided to go. The kids were crabby for not napping for Grandma but this was fun. All the money raised is being donated to a charity called Aunt Martha's. I think it's a charity that gives to underprivileged children. What a great idea! We'll be back next year too!
