My Gracie Giraffe

Gracie was a giraffe for Halloween this year. How appropriate as she has an obsession with animals right now. Topping the list of her favorite animals are giraffes, panda bears, and zebras. I was so excited that I found this costume for her and to think it only cost $6.50! Anyways, for weeks we have been pumping Gracie up and getting her excited for Halloween. She would tell everyone that she was going to be a giraffe for Halloween and that when you go to the doors, you say "trick or treat." She also knew that she would be getting candy! That was her favorite part too. So the morning of Halloween, we reviewed what was going to happen. Gracie again was excited about the candy part but also told me that she hoped to get donuts too! (Is she her mother's child or what?) Anyways, she loved wearing her giraffe costume and did fairly well at trick-or-treating. She wished everyone happy halloween and todl everyone "trick-or-treat." Since we trick-or-treated at my parents house, the neighbors loved seeing Gracie come around. Some even baked special goodies just for her! Of course those were also the first to be eaten! Mommy get to go this year too, by wheelchair of course. I just told people I was dressed as Octo-mom! Anyways, had a great time and got lots of candy! Daddy is already planning for what all 3 kids can be next year. One idea was 3 stooges. Mom says "we'll see." Hope everyone had a great Halloween!
